1 – WHAT IS A LAUNDRY CARD?
At Laundry City we use a laundry card system. It’s a card that is specifically designed to work with our machine’s payment systems. This card allows the customer to pay with, cash, or a credit card. You will pay $1.00 to get a card from the machine.
After you get your card, please add your name, address, email, birthday, and phone number (Registering Your Card) to get $1 registration bonus. We do not use your information for marketing purposes. This info is only used in the event that you should lose your card.
2 – WHY SHOULD I REGISTER MY LAUNDRY CARD?
The most important thing that you can do with your laundry card is to register it to yourself. If you don’t register your card, and it gets lost or stolen, we won’t be able to recover your money. This is so super important, and we try to tell everyone about this, but we have people all the time who lose their cards. However, when we try to look it up by their name, their name doesn’t exist.
Remember, if you don’t register your card, it just says the name is “Cardholder”. Also, if you don’t add your phone or email, and there are two people with the same name, we can’t know which card is yours either. Please head to the in-store kiosk, insert your card and follow the on-screen instructions to register your laundry card. Plus we will give you a $1 bonus for registering.
3 – HOW DO I GET A LAUNDRY CARD?
To get a laundry card, just visit the in-store kiosk on the wall. Follow the on-screen instructions and take the card. Note that a card cost a $1.00
To add money, insert your card, and follow the on-screen instructions. Be sure that your card has your name attached to it so that we can transfer your money to a new card if needed.
4 – CAN I ADD MONEY TO MY CARD ONLINE?
In today’s world, we all want to do things remotely. However, the CCI laundry card does not currently allow you to add money to their card remotely. You’ll need to visit the in-store kiosk to add money.
5 – I’VE LOST MY CARD, NOW WHAT?
If you’ve lost your laundry card, and you know the laundry card number, or it’s registered to your name, we have a form that you can fill out to help. Simply submit this form>> and someone will reach out within 48 business hours.
6 – I HAVE SEVERAL CARDS, HOW CAN I COMBINE THEM?
Using the refund request form, just give us your laundry card numbers, and we can merge them for you. Be sure to specify which one is the primary card.
7 – CAN I CANCEL MY CARD?
Sometimes customers move, or no longer need a laundromat. We don’t offer refunds for your laundry card balance. However, you can get your money back by doing an extra wash or getting items from our vending machines. Simply check your balance before your final visit at live.laundrycard.com and then be sure to use up that money before you leave.
8 – HOW DO I CHECK MY BALANCE?
This is our most popular question! It’s really easy to check your card balance. Just go online to live.laundrycard.com OR you can even check it in-store at the kiosk. Simply insert your card and follow the on-screen instructions to check your balance.
9 – What Benefits Do I Get By Using a Laundry Card?
You no longer have to carry quarters to the laundromat. The laundry card allows you to use cash and credit/debit cards. Plus we offer a rewards program with four different ways to earn cash back!
